My name is Marissa Neave and I am currently studying Criticism and Curatorial Practice at the Ontario College of Art & Design. My primary interest is in researching how contemporary factors have altered the processes of historicizing art, but on a wider scale I enjoy examining the relationships between people, space and art.

This blog will serve as a sounding board for some of my ideas about research and theory in art. Frequency and quality are two things I cannot promise. One of my aims is to provide information about art systems to those not directly involved in the field and ask questions of those who are. If you think I’ve published something that is completely misguided, please tell me! I’m just as interested in learning as I am in sharing.
